S-Matthew 9

O- Jesus said he desired mercy, not sacrifice.

"No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment. For the patch will pull away from the garment, making the tear worse. Neither do men pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst, the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No , they pour new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved."

Again and again, Jesus heals with his touch through faith. Have faith in God's hand. Again and again, Jesus said, "According to your faith will it be done to you." Having faith changes circumstances. Place faith in Christ.

Jesus said, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore to send out workers into his harvest field."

A - I am a new creation in Christ. "The old is gone; the new has come." Let the wine of Christ be poured into me by my maker. Do not put old stuff into the new. The old and the new do not go together. Be made afresh in Christ. Remember that the body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and follow accordingly.

-Pray for God to send out workers into his harvest field. Be willing to be a worker myself in the harvest field.

P - God, help me to be a willing worker. Help me to have faith in you and your hand. Help me to not put old stuff into the new wineskins you have made for me. Forgive my sin. Show me the way this day. Amen.
