Christmas Day

It is a great day. The tree is lit, the presents are scattered, and the stockings are full. The best part so far is that my munchkins are still fast asleep and I am drinking my coffee soaking in God's gifts. Thanks God. What a fun day. I anticipate the kiddos any moment running down the stairs as it is getting lighter outside, but this moment of anticipation is actually very peaceful.

I am thankful for this season. It causes me to stop and reflect on the birth of His Son. It is amazing how, although the story never changes, it is more miraculous to me each year. It is a glimpse of heaven on earth. It is like "one day in his courts." Reminds me of this song in some ways that I am listening to ...
